Is this Expandable Tactical Backpack the Best?
Overall, I think that this military-style pack offers one of the best options in versatility. On the other hand, I think that the Camelbak Ambush provides a better fit for running or cycling.
Also, Monkey Paks makes a tactical backpack that includes a 2.5 liter bladder. For some people, it may work better for longer outdoor excursions. Plus, you can remove the outside pockets.
